This portfolio post, documents a recent bathroom rip-out, re-design and re-fit that we recently completed for a very happy customer in Redditch. The customer initially called Helpful Plumber and informed us that they wanted to revive their tired, old and generally worn out bathroom.
It was made clear to us from the start that this lovely couple didn’t just want or require a new basin, bath tub and toilet but the whole bathroom ripped out, gutted and designed from the ground up to give a modern, clean and visually pleasing bathroom – it is afterall a place where we all like to relax and have a hot soak!
Generally speaking, the refurbishment of a bathroom will include replacing the bath, wash hand basin and toilet.
As you will be able to tell, for this refurbishment we also replaced the old wall tiles and re-tiled as well as the flooring of the bathroom. We also re-painted the walls and re-finished the ceiling in this bathroom, to ensure it was a complete remodeling.
The next two pictures will show you just what bad shape this bathroom was in before the Helpful Plumber began the transformation phase.
Evident straight away from these pictures is that the bathtub needed replacing. The tiles were also tired and discoloured, the shower unit was way past its expiry date and just for good measure, in the middle of the turquoise wall and tiling was an unattractive air vent!
